Bulls***!!!

We had soldiers guarding our school last week, the first sign of 'trouble' and the need for protection since the onset of civil unrest (first by the yellow shirts and next by the red shirts), since I arrived in the capital.  There were military top brass sitting in what used to be the hotel cafe, turned into an ops HQ, complete with blueprints and maps.

However, this time round, it was to safeguard the Asean+3 health ministers convening over the swine flu in Dusit Thani hotel.  I guess they do not want a repeat of the Pattaya incident.

On a lighter note, there was a fringe festival of arts of sorts happening in the open space between Siam Center and Siam Paragon.  Some interesting performances.  I caught an acrobatic act, and some snatches of drama.  I like that thinnish white giant 'alien-ish' mannequin they put up on the left of the stage.

Oh the car, ah... I believe it should some kind of antique Cadillac?  I spotted it cruising down Silom this afternoon and took a quick shot.
