Paris has gone subzero in the last 2 nights. While walking with Rus and friends in town at night, the windchill factor was -8C (as what I read in the weather report websites later). As of right now, it's -1C, will get colder soon (-6C tonite!). There's now a skating ring in front of Hotel de Ville and the Palais de Chaillot. The top layer of water at the fountains has frozen, and my ears are really really cold!!
I spent 2 good days walking about in Paris with Rus, we covered a lot, really a lot! Well, guess I was a bit too ambitious in covering what I know so far abt this city for him being around in only 2.5 days, but I must say he's been a real good sport and excellent city walker.
I know it'll be sad when I've to start work at 2pm tmw, knowing he'll be leaving on the 5pm train, but I should be thankful for the company so far.
Meanwhile, I hope to offer some good news by the end of this week!
