Musée d'Orsay

Took some time yesterday to visit the Musée d'Orsay, it houses Impressionists and Post-Impressionists collection. Such as the famous 'Waterlilies' and 'Poppy fields' from Monet....

..... Manet, Cezanne, Degas.....etc

Musee d'Orsay used to be a train station, as evident from the layout of the museum. Innovative way of transforming space!

There was also a temporary exhibition for Van Gogh, Pissaro, and Gauguin.

I like this one, "Charing Cross Bridge". The colors are whimsical and there's a certain lightness in movement of the painting.

There was a section on Art Nouveau as well, mainly furnitures and some stained glass,
It was a pleasure to visit, didn't feel like 3 hours at all!
