Leaving

Just spent an incredible long weekend back in SG, was happy to see friends and family again.  Also, gave me a chance to churn out more products - culinary and pastry, to re-create the recipes and see where I could improve.  

Culinary: Quiche Loraine, French Onion Soup, Salad greens with vinaigrette, Poached Salmon served with chive butter sauce with turned potatoes and carrots, Blanquette de veau, Beef Stroganoff, pilaf rice with veg brunoise.  

Pastry: 3 mascotte au praliné, 1 crème brûlée, 1 alhambra, 1 caramel walnut tart, 1 schuss.  

Yeah, it's a little crazy!  Rus took excellent pictures, beg him for some copies if you want to see what they looked like.

I'm flying back to BKK tmw afternoon, on one hand I'll be glad to come back to my cosy studio apartment, on the other, I'll be sad to say goodbye once again to friends and Milo, Pepe.  

My apologies to friends whom I did not manage to catch up this time round, and not being able to cook for you.  It's a short trip this time.  Next time back will plan for a longer stay.

Well, i'm planning to be back again in Apr.  Till then......
