Second lap

This weekend, some friends and I drove out to the suburbs for a daytrip.  We visited some sleepy villages, one of which houses a 100yr old market, selling traditional sweets, crafts, games that were probably very common in SG in the 60's.  It's good to know a slice of history still exists somewhere in the world today.

We also visited Luang Pho Wat Sothorn, which houses one of the most revered buddha statue in Thailand.  It's 84m tall ubosoth is probably the tallest in the world.

I have been taking school at an easier pace these past 2 weeks, to see how slow I could be, and to make life less stressful than last term.  I get by, still finished in time, results are alright, but I decided this week on, I will have to go at a much faster pace.  Speed in the kitchen is very important.   Maybe it'll be more tiring, but it's good training.  In the second lap of this 9 months marathon, it's crucial to keep the endurance up.
