Autumn in Paris

When I was young, I asked in school if I'll like to emigrate, I was one of the few who raised their hands, I gave my reason to the teacher to be, I wanted falling maple leaves. Well, Paris has no falling maple leaves, but come autumn, the trees, vines, shrubs takes on a vivid warm spectrum of colors of yellow, orange and red.

Most people do not know that there is a second statue of liberty in Paris (after the one along the Seine River), it is in Luxembourg garden, one of my fav spot of the city.

Seasonal changes also brings on delights from the terroir, such as these fresh cepes (aka as porcini in italian), I saw some and knew I had to get them. Not expensive, these are only abt 2 euros, about 100gr!

The result: Delicious porcini risotto, if I may say so myself!
